SUV Market

Geely’s Panda Knight: Geely Auto introduced the Panda Knight, a pure electric micro SUV featuring various charging options, including commercial fast charging, home charging stations, and an onboard charging gun. The vehicle is expected to be launched in early September, providing urban drivers with a convenient pure electric transportation choice.
  2. BMW’s Next-Generation Concept Car: BMW showcased a concept car based on its next-generation electric vehicle platform, expected to enter production in 2025. This demonstrates BMW’s ongoing innovation in the electric vehicle field.

  4. All-New Renault Scenic E-Tech: The all-new Renault Scenic E-Tech, based on the CMF-EV platform, is set to go into production in 2024. It will feature a 215-horsepower electric motor, a 40 kWh battery, and a small hydrogen fuel cell, theoretically achieving an 800-kilometer range, offering new choices in the electric vehicle market.

Charging Infrastructure and Technology

  1. Hyundai Developing Its Charging Stations: Hyundai Motor Group is developing its own ultra-fast electric vehicle charging stations to compete with Tesla’s Supercharger network, enhancing convenience for electric vehicle owners.
  2. Wallbox and Kia Partner for Bidirectional Charging: Wallbox and Kia America are partnering to offer bidirectional charging for Kia EV9 customers, enabling both charging and discharging, enhancing charging flexibility for electric vehicle owners.
